Nana's Buttermilk Chicken Casserole
Delicious, easy and cheap. This Casserole is sure to be a hit with your entire family.
  • 1lb or 3 to 4 breast Cooked, shredded chicken
  • 2 cans Cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can Water
  • To taste Salt & Pepper
  • 1 stick Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 cup Self rising flour
Preheat oven to 450°Grease a 9 x 13 Casserole dish. In Casserole dish, Combine chicken, soup, water and salt and pepper. Mix well. In a seperate bowl combine melted butter, flour and Buttermilk. Mix until consistency is like pancake batter. Pour topping mixture on top of chicken mixture and spread evenly. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
